I kinda thought this thread was going to be about the smash-hit TV show on USA Network "In Plain Sight". But moving beyond my initial disappointment I was intrigued and excited by the thought of meeting a trans person in a regular setting. Thanks for the story and hope it works out well for you!

Your whole post is derogatory and shows uneducated you are, just because transwomen YOU SEE are prostitutes doesn't mean most are. I know several lawyers, therapists, and secretaries who are transsexuals. Base your views off trans groups oh wait they don't allow chasers in those never mind.

Thanks for the story Ben Dundat. And I wish more people would talk about their experiences, good or bad. Seems like a number of men here have had serious relationships, but most dont go to long term ones. Very few write about why things did not last. Please let us know how things work out for you.

A very close friend of mine is transgendered and she does not advertise it to the world, thus hiding in plain sight. We have talked about this before and essentially hiding in plain sight is her ultimate goal, to be undetectable from a genetic woman

This makes sense to me as unless you are in an industry (like porn) where selling the attribute of being transgendered is the modus operandi it would stand to reason that one is transgendered to simply change genders and feel more comfortable with their body and fit into society as the other gender.

It almost seems to defeat the purpose for one to be transgendered and not hide in plain sight(other than for reasons of employment or social support)
