I don't get why people like amateur porn. Isn't the point of porn to indulge in your fantasies and escape the real life?

Professionally produced porn have girls in their glamorous best and scenes are choreographed - things that you don't see everyday. In addition, the camera are in the angles that you want to see them in.

Can't you pretty much tell the deal 3 minutes into a pro porn flick? ( excluding TS Porn) Predictable....way too predictable and scripted. Good amateur shit is spontaneous, sometimes the lighting is always perfect and the actors haven't been sculpted by some plastic surgeon. It's porn for everyman. lol It's the real deal. Maybe you're just watching the wrong amateur flicks.

IMO some amateur porn is much hotter then pro porn. In some cases I like the amateur better. Seems like they have more fun doing it then the pro's.

OK there are a bunch of different reasons why amateur porn is pretty cool. First, because most amateurs have more fun doing it. Even if they are making or trying to make a buck off it, they probably still have day jobs and it hasn't quite become work yet. Second real life couples usually make amateur porn so you aren't looking at two people that just met 5 minutes before the taping started. What this means is that there is usually more emotion and passion and that both are far more genuine. Third amateurs aren't as intimidating to the average Joe or Jane. What "regular" guy thinks they have a shot at nailing a chick that could afford ten's of thousands of dollars in plastic surgery, professional hairstyling and makeup, what average girls actually expects that big hunky looking stud with 10 inches as thick as a Coke can to show up in her bed? But when you see amateurs going at it you think to yourself, "hey that could just as easily be me." Finally amateur porn "does" have a voyeur aspect to it. It's like glancing up on an escalator and seeing a girl in a short mini skirt and a thong above you, it's like looking out your bedroom window and seeing your neighbor's wife breaking out her sex toy for some "alone" time, it's like grabbing the video tape marked little Timmy's birthday and instead finding a tape of Timmy's parent's going at it, it's like walking across the dune line on a deserted beach and stumbling across a couple in the heat of passion. It's taboo, forbidden and hidden, and there is still an element of fantasy because you can fantasize that you alone have found somebodies dirty little secret hidden in their bra and panty drawer.

Oh and BTW let's call it homemade instead of amateur because all of the pro studios are trying to make porn that looks homemade with known stars these days and pass it off as amateur. That's just not in the same category IMO.
