Hey im Cherry...

Ive heard that Amsterdam is really libral and bohemian and because of that it has a big LGBT scene... So I'm thinking about visiting and checking out the t-girl scene... has anyone been before (or lives there) that can tell me what its like? Also have been thinking of maybe working in its red light district for a bit and trying my luck, what is the t-girl side of prostitution like in Amsterdam?

I've been there more times than I can count! As far as prostitution goes the T girl scene is around Bloedstraat in the red light district. As for bars etc, I've never found any that are only t girls, there are a lot of gay bars close to the red light and a few fetish clubs dotted around the city.
It is a great city and well worth a visit!

Hey Cherisa, i actually live in Amsterdam and i have to say there is not much going lately.I dont work but what i have been told by friends that business is slow in the red light district( there is a street where most the ts's are) and there are girls and ts's that bring the prices down as low as 20 euros, considering that the rent for a window ranges between 100 and 200 euros depending on the day and time it can be hard to make some money.Also i personally think it is kinda degrading to sit in front of a window in your bikini or lingerie like a piece of meat.You could also consedering escorting but there is alot of compitition in Amsterdam.Regarding the rest of the scene there isnt really a specific tranny club or bar with the exption of lellebel but that are more crossdresses etc.

You can't describe the scene in Amsterdam as big; sensuelle mentioned Llelebel on Utrechtestraat -apart from the Butterfly Cafe its the only ts place I know of in the city, but its a small place. I don't have time right now but there was a long thread on Amsterdam a year or so ago with some links to Butterfly Cafe and photos of the mostly Thai who frequent it, assuming it is still open.

That said, its a wonderful city, beautiful to look at, great ambience, and its always so annoying when people assume you are going there for the Red Light District when there is so much more.

I think it's hard for a new t-girl to make it in the amsterdam red light district because 80% of the clients always go to the same girls who have been there for years (Paula, Paloma, Dominique...) they are well known.
A lot of girls also put ads on the kinky.nl site.
You also have a forum (hookers.nl), it's a forum about the dutch & belgian prostitute-escort scene. Clients use this forum to talk about the girls, the service, make reviews, no girls on the forum, word get's around fast. Getting good reviews on this forum most def can help you get more clients.

The starting rate is 50€, the girls who go as low als 20 don't have a window, a drugproblem and take you to a videobooth in a peepshow or some dirty crackhouse. There's a couple of em, 1 always rides a bike. That's an insult to the girls working behind a window.

I really think im going to go and try for it. Ive been doing a bit of research online and theres only really the windows or the street that seems available to t-girls... most of the brothels, sex clubs and agencies seem to work with gen girls and men. Apparently Bloedstraat is were most of the t-girl's windows are located so just need to find out how i would go about renting one?? x x x x
