Spanking a kid because he/she shows gay or effeminate tendencies. Exactly the same. It's the inference that it's wrong.
What this does is gives every schoolyard bully the right to "punch" a kid for "dropping his hand" or acting effeminate.

Its a valid question, although I don't think you can "punch" the white out of someone. But speech against race happens here every day. Ever hear of Louis Farrakhon? The KKK?

im guessing the pastor has had many same sex urges, if not, is subconsciously gay...

and hitting/spanking a kid is just bad parenting. not only is it wrong, but its a stupid and easy way to enforce a position onto another, which also leads to negative consequences.
