I have a question for those people: when you're in a M/TS relationship, what do you tell the man's family (let's assume they're conservative)? Do you even tell them anything at all? What's the best way to handle the situation?

I don't think you should feel obligated to tell his family anything, really. But, that's my opinion

They will find out next week, she is meeting my Family. April 28th. Actually the only person that knows she is trans is my sister in law. We have been going out for 4 months. She has told me not to tell them she is a tg. My parents will not like it, but I really dont care. I have been dating tg's alot for the past few years.

I have been going to NYC every weekend and I think one of my brother thinks something is up , I live near Atlantic City.

you tell them only what you are comfortable with.

if you are the kind of person that wants/needs to hide who you are...keep your mouth shut.

if you are the kind of person that wants/needs to advertise that you are packing...then tell them and let them deal with it

if you are the kind of person that is not defined solely by your birth gender...its none of their business. you are who you are. when i still dated, it was simple...i told my siggy's friends/family only what they needed to know, when they needed to know it. I guess the point is that if I was dating a girl and I met her parents, it was none of their business if I was a member of James Van Der Beak fan club or a closet professional wrestling fan let alone how big my penis is.....so why should your bf's parents know how big yours is.

You can want to be as open as you want, but it's not your place to dictate his relationship with his own family.
