Poppers are seldom Amyl Nitrate anymore. In the UK the only commercially available poppers are Amyl Butyrate. Horrible stuff. Sold as "room refreshers"by Ann Summers shops! The feeling is - as an earlier poster said - a brief sort of dislocation. But you can get sort of vague flu-like symptoms afterwards and chest congestion. Often applied by escorts to facilitate easy penetration. But they leave you feeling horrible and can be dangerous. A UK domme escort who died last year during a session was said afterwards to regularly combine poppers and viagra. Best avoided.
