In the time I needed to transition the people were pretty homophobic in my home town... so I escaped it and moved to the big city.
Nowadays because of the Islam large areas in big city's have become extremely trans and gay unfriendly... while my hometown would now be a very peacefull and accepting place to live....I might just be able to live there now and even be supported by the people there... moreso... then in the city...
Odd.
But I am attached to the city I live now... It has become my new home.

My parents always tell me that people are very kind and interested in how I am doing. I may even have more friends in my hometown then anywhere else

Probably because by seeing you those people might realize how much time they've wasted not pursing who they really are, and what they really want to do with their lives. When the way you look can point this out to people they get angry, and then two weeks later break down and cry at the realization of how much time they've squandered.

I have a great relationship with them. We're close.

I see now, one of the lucky ones...or was it hard work getting that close?

i am super close to my parents and my family ...my dad is boss fun ..we build shit together, have a movie night once a week and a few beers

since transitioning i am now closer to my family than i was before ..i get on better with my brother much more now as well.

I always feel like this type of stress and anxiety is probably one of the biggest factors in America today as to why we're all so unhappy. I also feel like a lot more people share this sentiment than most realize. It seems like fat kids, ugly kids, black kids, poor kids, gay kids, tgirls, all feel this to some extent. To think people feel that on a near daily basis, makes me so sad!
