I've never really understood it, but it's a common theme in non-TS TG related fiction. I've always guessed it's the fantasy of getting all the benefits of transition without the awkwardness or challenges someone transitioning goes through.

The film is called Zerophilia and was released in 2005; needless to say the young man is fit and attractive; from the discussion boards on IMDB for this film there is also reference to a Japanese Manga story called ranma 1/2 in which a 16-yr old trained in martial arts becomes a girl if splashed with cold water; returns to being male if splashed with hot water.
