I think its a form of autogynephillia, but related to crossdressers (potential). not trasexuals. A male, who has little chance of passing as a female, can imagine they are the character.

That makes total sense. I just have no fantasies based impossible scenarios that would require magic. Many of my fantasies are extreme but they're reality based.

I don't know quite what it is. It's not just gender transformations, I remember when I was a kid I saw the movie Willow. There's a scene in which a bunch of people are transformed into pigs and even when I was like 5 it fascinated me. My favorite episodes of cartoons were the ones where the characters switch bodies, or heads or whatever. I discovered the transformation community online when I was like 14 or 15. I was just hoping that there were some movies with TS actresses along these lines, hoping there was enough of a demand for it.
I have lots of crazy fantasies, and it's cool when ever so often I find one depicted in film or animation, etc.

There was a 'Vera' movie idea, reported to have a trans girl in the mani role, pitched in the US a few years before it was done in Brazil. They had auditions for the project in LA, and New York. I saw pics of the auditions in a t-girl mag, called "Les Girls". I'll have to research what year that was, but it was between '81 and '91. But I'd bet money this was the same project, as the Brazilian one.

"The Skin I Live In" is a Spaniard project, written and directed by Almodovar (the same that did the transsexual themed movie "all about my mother").

Rolled in Spain, with an all Spanish crew.

The only "brazilian" was the "tiger" character with the big dick.
