This is a porn forum, and most of the guys around here arent interested in any community. There used to be a time YEARS ago where you'd see transition help and support posts and a lot more discussion topics, but not so much anymore.

I don't know if I'm one of them, but there are a few dudes around here that kinda "get" it a little better than the majority, but HA goes through waves where floods of new users here for the porn hang around and support insulting stereotypes about transsexuals because that's about all they know. Then you should know in general, GLBT have higher rates of suicide, This does not mean transexual have a higher rate. You can't conduct a study where about 13 percent of the population is GLB, and a lesser population of T.

This study is conducted under transexuals who have not been properly diagnosed in other countries, If you are a doctor then you know the mortality rate of a diagnosed transexual is very low.

There many contributing factors to suicide besides regret of the operation, as a doctor you should know this.

Society is a major influenced, there is a numerous amount of disgust with post op's, many transexuals look down on them and many people make them feel less of a person by perceiving they made a bad decision, or they will never be a woman with a fake vagina, Or in the cases of tranny lovers make them feel bad for having it, just because of their twisted perception of the community. I wouldn't exactly say it's "turned around", but it's definitely not so transitional, for lack of a better word. I try to make all moves in my life lateral ones. Most of the things I've done that may have seemed reckless were actually the most stubbornly disciplined.
