I don't see that being a strong woman Nicole. I know strong women, I like them and I love them. What Evon is has stated (apart from the good response that it's none of my business) is not the attitude of a strong woman. It's someone who "deserves" to be taken care of. It's the attitude of being entitled to it. It's weak.

I can only speak for myself ultimately. I've always worked when possible. When I escorted in FL, I still worked 22 hrs a week and had full benefits.

I've kept my opinions to myself on this whole thread but with some of the girls saying what they're saying, especially coming from one specific person, has just pushed my buttons.

To go back to the original topic of discussion, Domino and any other person can put whatever value they have on themselves as they please. But as many of the other members here have stated, the consumer chooses whether or not they are willing to pay it. This is just how business works.... period! I have clients from my web cam shows ask for me to reduce my rates and the same goes for purchasing products on my blog, which are all nonnegotiable. Some still go through with it, and some don't. I don't take it personal or get mad because someone thinks that my rates are too high, it's just how people are. We all want to save as much money as we possible can, in everything we do! But it also goes back to what someone holds value in. Some guys are just about a hard cock, so if they can get the same result essentially from a cheaper source, then they will go somewhere else. But some are about who you are, your name or something unique to you. So they will more than likely pay your asking rate if not give you more, which is what I do get from people who are fans of me and my work.

I used to be a manager of a high-end retail store and even women who had enough money to pay full value for the products I sold, would ask for a discount. Everyone as I said is looking to save a buck if they can. So it's not a sign of being cheap, it's a sign of understanding your own finances. You can't blame people for asking for a lower rate, I was taught that you never know til you ask. It's not something personal against you, trying to state that you are worth less than what you are asking, but rather just someone trying to save themselves money in the process. I am sure that all of the escorts are guilty of the same thing. It's like you see a dress in one store and the same dress in another and the one store has it on sale while the previous one is still full price. Are you going to pay full price or the reduced cost? More than likely you'll pay less so you can have more to spend on other things. Just how living in this consumer based society works.

It's obviously a little different in the case of people, as we're all unique and there's not another who are like us, but don't take it personal because someone thinks you charge too much. Who cares, if they won't pay, someone else will. It is a great way for screening for the girls too! And the admirers can't knock that down either.

What if one day the phone calls stop? Then what? Will you reduce your rate? or get a standard 9-5 dead end job like how the rest of the world lives? or will you be too good for that and still continue to live in a la la land of self-entitlement hoping for someone to come and support you?

I depend on NO ONE to survive and live my life. This is how a confident self-supportive person lives, man or woman. But since you are so quick to determine how a lady acts, you sure don't act like one going around and insulting everyone for their opinions. A lady keeps her opinion to herself and holds enough confidence that no matter what anyone says, she has no reason to defend herself. Someone without confidence gets on the defense about their actions. just like you have.
