Has anyone ever attended this in Thailand? If so, please let me know ho you fond it, wondering if it is worth going along in May

Since questions are being asked, I have long wondered whether most of the girls are post op? I recall that it was consdered a little controversial that Mimi Marks was pre op, and participated in a Thailand pageant.

Wasn't it more controversial that she was a white, blonde American competing in (and winning) a Thai pageant?

I don't know what percentage are pre-op, but I don't think it's that controversial. Pimchanok Hongsopa (AKA: Iya, Oye Red, and Aoi) was in Miss Tiffany 2007 and came in third I believe, and she did porn afterward and was still pre-op at the time.

You can be pre- or post.... The pageant is an international pageant. Erica Andrews won year after Mimi representing Mexico. She is pre-op too! I almost entered 5yrs ago, its open to any trans around the world. Just lots of Thai and Asians because of country. Its televised over there. Mimi and Erica both told me how wonderful it is, but also been told by a former judge that is American that it is a very rigged pageant.

Just some clarification re: the contests. There are two - Miss International Queen, which is hosted by The Tiffany Theatre and typically held annually around November. This contest is open to tgs from around the world.

The Miss Tiffany Universe Contest is restricted to Thai tgs and is held annually generally in May.

As to the OPs question - if you want to see some of the most beautiful Thai tgs - yes, it is worth it, but also be aware that it is all in Thai. If you understand Thai, that makes the contest much better.

There is no requirement that the contestant be pre or post op. However there is more screening of the contestants now. Pimchanok Hongsopa who was 2nd runner up in 2007 was a university student and working part time in Casanova Bar in Nana Plaza, Bangkok. When the contest organizers found out after the fact, she was not allowed to participate in future contests. The reason is because the Miss Tiffany Universe winner goes on to represent Thailand in the Miss International Queen contest.
