I'm pretty accustomed to being able to socialize with gay men, lesbians, and transsexuals, and have honest discussions about whatever's happening in our lives. Truth be told, I sometimes miss living in a real gayborhood like Wilton Manors, FL or the West Village of Manhattan where people don't have hang-ups about any of this crap. So if I somewhat let the pretenses surrounding this little TS porn community fall by the waist side, forgive me.

A lot of the younger lesbian TGs are what I believe certain people would refer to as "suburban gay", meaning they remained in a little vacuum somewhere until they came out to a pretty small group of people, and their whole lgbt experience has whatever limited reference points they were exposed to in those earliest days. I think that brand of naivety is where a lot of people are stuck when they step into the world of actually doing tranny porn. Maybe I'm too rooted in the world societal reject faggots. Maybe my sense of "community" doesn't equate into porn dollars. I don't know. But this is me. Whether the performance suffers as the tgirl isn't into her partner or for any other reason, it is a turn off for that scene. I may or may not like her solo work or other scenes but it is a scene to scene basis. For me to be 100% turned off to a performer, most of their scenes have to annoy me.
