Breaking News on Ms. Fluke
It appears struggling Georgetown Law Student and full time consumer of birth control products, is on spring break out in Southern California with her boyfriend ( son of a huge Democratic bundler). Looks like when given the choice between spring break and birth control , she opted for the sun and fun....Who knows....maybe President Obama had a word with her about where to go on vacation during his call of concern to her....after all, he's an expert on the subject. From Joan of Ark to beer pong in a week !!!!!! You can't make this shit up.

Re: Breaking News on Ms. Fluke
She's thirty years old and in law school. I doubt she's hanging out on the beach with teeny boppers getting wasted.
I'm all for pointing out hypocrisy, but there's no bullseye to draw on Ms. Fluke. The GOP needs to stop trying to put a padlock on pussy.
The best way to prevent abortions is by supporting the availability of birth control in health insurance plans.

Re: Breaking News on Ms. Fluke
Cute...but where does a 30 year old law student/activist fit in with 5 men of the cloth called to testify as experts to discuss the subject of Obama's encroachment on religious institutions? The answer is she doesn't......but you libs keep trying the bait and switch.....and that's why they created thier own dog and pony show were she could have all the spotlight ...nice work finding that pic, but totally and completely irrelevent.

Re: Breaking News on Ms. Fluke
Who is putting a padlock on her lady parts? She is free to do and use what ever she would like. But the day the government starts to pay for recreational drugs, they better be sending me a truck load of Samuel Adams.
How does anyone make the reach that someone is trying to take something away from this lady? Are really at the point that we expect the federal government to pay for recreational activities?

Re: Breaking News on Ms. Fluke
Missed the point GH. No one said she was tossing a Frisbee on the beach. The point is....half her testimony was lamenting the monetary hardship her and her fellow law students were undergoing by having to purchase their own birth control. ( gasp) Hey....it's a free country and I'm glad she's getting some sun and fun.....just don't cry crocodile tears about the cost of birth control ( 9 bucks a month at Wal_Mart) while playing on the west coast with your Democratically connected beau. If you can't see the hypocrisy, I can't help ya.
I'd like my condoms , and perhaps my Viagra sometime in the future, if I need it to be covered by my health plan...but it's not....and I'd like you to pay for that .....it's very important to maintaining a good healthy sexual relationship, so please pony up. You liberals should understand my sexual dependency and pay for it.
Many health care plans do cover both birth control and Viagra...not a problem with me. And I'll keep repeating this until all the progressives get it...so once more for effect.... the real point here is.....you can't force either religious institutions to pay for it...or by proxy force their insurance providers to pay for it if they're morally opposed. That's simply Unconstitutional...period. It's astonishing to me that anyone who read the Constitution aloud with their 5th grade teacher can't grasp this fundamental concept, let alone college grads. It's scary actually. That's what's this is about. I understand you all are Obama zombies, but at some point you have to cut through the fog....and keep the founding documents in mind....and not the need of the day. You have to keep the issues of birth control, and religious encroachment separate. And in the case of Ms. Fluke, she applied to a Jesuit run Catholic University knowing full well they didn't cover contraception. The whole thing is a ruse, and you all got sucked in.

Re: Breaking News on Ms. Fluke
Isn't insurance really communism? And isn't religion big business? Why should birth control come under the heading of medicine? Why does mitcn mcconnell always look like he just took a dump in his pants? Why should a law student be able to testify in court when issa can drag religion in there, oh, sorry, that was obama.
Obama just grabbed 5 points in women voters!
Get the point?

Re: Breaking News on Ms. Fluke
Wow, what an utter FAIL: a whole thread that proves that this whole issue really is about the GOP attacking women. When are you misogynists gonna get it? This issue was never about Ms. Fluke, it was about Limbaugh sliming and shaming a woman for daring to mention the health care needs of women that make you uncomfortable. If you had an ounce of decency or intellectual honesty you would condemn Limbaugh's comments and call it a day. But you don't! You post photoshipped pics of her with condoms, devote entire threads to her spring break, doing opposition research on her like she was the story! Get it through your fucking right wing extremist skulls: she is not the story! That you keep making her the story only shows what's really driving you here: a hatred of women who step of bounds and demand that they be treated as equals in our society. But you can't accept that, so you trash her, stalk her movements, call her a slut, a prostitute, a hypocrite, anything to undermine her and the cause of gender equality.
Politically, I'm all for you doing this. It's political suicide as the recent polls and Limbaugh's sponsor exodus (now over 50) have shown. But morally it's repugnant. It reeks of an immature and bullying mentality, hopelessly insecure and ridiculously aggressive. And so of course, it fits the OP to a T.

Re: Breaking News on Ms. Fluke
On another thread someone was lamenting about the course language....and for the most part I agree............except in your case. How can you have a gentle dialogue with a dupe?
Look....once and for all .....Ms. Fluke inserted herself ( or someone inserted her) into the discussion because the liberals were getting hammered on the issue of religious liberty. When you have Cardinal Dolan calling you a liar....( as he did in so many words) things are not going well. As a political issue, it was becoming a real problem for Obama and the libs.....( it still will be...mark my words) so enter Ms. Fluke to change the discussion from an encroachment of religious liberty to a WAR ON WOMEN. Back peddle a little bit, say you've changed your position....but really don't change much except to shift the cost....You have to manage the crisis, and change the discussion. Didn't you see a preview of this when Stepanopolous asked the question of Romney out of left field at a debate...or are you so stupid you think that was coincidence ? Who the fuck was talking about birth control? They dragged up some old tape of Santorum saying some goofy shit, but nobody else was discussing it. Go back and listen to Romney's answer....that's the position of the Republican party. Obama needed to change the narrative quickly, and as far as I've been able to tell, she was not escorted to appear at gunpoint. She did so voluntary.....now she's inserted herself into the national discussion. He motives, her testimony, and her words become a matter of public record and scrutiny. If Joe the Plumber went before a sub sub committee, made of nothing but far right Republicans, you fuckers would be howling for years....so don't act like we shouldn't dissect Ms. Flukes testimony or her motives.
Did she deserve to be called names....No.........but don't give me that feigned fucking outrage. You misogynistic mother fuckers have been engaged in far worse for years, and instead of being outraged...you call it humor. So fuck off with your sympathy for Ms. Fluke...I'm not buyin' it. But that gig is up....we're calling you out on it now.....
And you're probably one of the ones who pissed his pants when they made fun of Palin's kid, or called her a cunt.
So yes...We've had some fun at the expense of Ms. Fluke....all of it pretty mild...except Limbaugh who apologized. The reason she's a target of our humor is because of her testimony...of which little if any can be taken seriously, as we will continue to show. She does what liberals do....cry for another government hand out, and tailor her testimony to try to solicit sympathy. You idiots want to melt the issue of birth control with the issue of Georgetown paying for it...but that was not us who initiated that discussion...that was Ms. Fluke.
Ask yourself this question if you're at all inquisitive....Why would a well known reproductive and birth control rights advocate seek admission into a Jesuit run law school? There's Colombia, U of Chicago, Harvard, U of Virginia Law school, and dozens of other private institutions that she could have attended....but she chose a private catholic university. Does that strike you as odd? Do you have any intellectual curiosity at all?
Ms. Fluke is the object of our inspection, and in some cases scorn
because she chose to enter a national discussion with far from pure motives. Then in the days following the testimony did she return to her studies....hardly. This is what she lived for. She went on the talk show circuit, and promoted Media Matters...lmao. And don't you think it's just a little too cute that on the day entire towns in Indiana and Kentucky are blown off the face of the earth with no comment from the oval office..., Obama calls Ms. Fluke to console her? Are you really that dumb? If you want to make her your very own Joan of Ark.....be my guest. Ms Fluke and her classmates can ingest all the birth control she wants...it's not illegal, and never will be.It's readily available to anyone over 17. BUT.... Georgetown should not be MANDATED to pay for it if it's counter to thier religious beliefs. Check the first amendment, please. This isn''t about what you or Nancy Pelosi believe...this is about what Catholic Jesuits running Georgetown believe. . Are you able to discern the difference at all....or will we have to wait 3 years before the Supreme Court hears the case for those of us on the right to be vindicated ?

Re: Breaking News on Ms. Fluke
THis debate doesn't advantage the GOP at all, which is why it's so perplexing they want to paint Obama as being 'at war' against religion. The POTUS already shifted the responsibility for birth control coverage away from religious affiliated institutions to HMOS, yet for some reason right wingers think there's mileage to be had in this debate.
The GOP can tell themselves this is about religious liberty and the overreach of Obamacare, but to the other half of the American electorate it sounds like conservatives don't want insurance coverage to include contraception.
Pick your side of this 'debate', the winning one isn't that the President has a beef against religious expression.
How far does this right to religious freedom extend??
And until Ms. Fluke drops out of Georgetown Law, there is no conspiracy. She's a student in good standing and made her opinion known.
Surprise, millions of women nationwide think exactly as she does, that a religious affiliated institution shouldn't be able to dictate the limits of her healthcare coverage.
Ms. Fluke chose G'town Law because it's a top flight law school, you really think this showdown over reproductive rights/religious freedom was orchestrated by Ms. Fluke and her 'handlers' well before she was admitted to GL???
Do you know what crazy talk sounds like???
Most the grad students at GL aren't Catholic I'd bet, and I wouldn't be surprised if half their undergrads at least aren't either.
Keep thinking that running on a platform of Gods, guns and gays is going to get the GOP back in the Oval Office.lol
