Ah, you're a far better ma...er...TS than I, Gunga Din.

I never had the funds, tenacity, patience, or motivation to go further with my education. Sad, as MIT and Wentworth were both high on the list (And both, to my delight, have model railroad clubs to soothe the genii).

What's the full course at AINYC? How much is left to complete and get your degree/diploma/certificate?

Well u see my problem was that i jumped into college without researching what i was doing. I had only wanted a brochure lol., Next thing i new i had enrolled i SWEAR. Its one of those 16 month courses for associates degree. I started taking 5 classes a week (4hrs each) and when i didnt have money or time to get my work done, i switched to 4 classes a week. I believe 2 more quarters at 4 classes a quarter and i would've been done! My problem was that i was unable to dedicate 100% of my focus to school so i took a break for a quarter and i was gonna go back, but i got deep into escorting and was dealing w a stalker x-fiance who would wait 4 me in front of school EVERY morning and be there when i came out!

Ouch! @ The stalker part. And I can relate to how money/job/etc. can interfere. Part of why I never went on to higher education was because I was too entrepeneurial (Sp?). Why learn how others do it when I can do it myself from the start? Unfortunately, the world at large needs that damned sheet of paper on the wall before it will take you seriously.

You should look into a program you are interested in. Get the specifics, classes, courses, fees, tuition etc.
Then look into obtaining some sort of federal aid to pay for your schooling. I don't know if there is a law saying transexual women are not elligible for federal money, which I highly doubt.

Have the credits that you completed transferred and take it from there
WRITE your plan of action down, stick it up on your bathroom mirror so you see it and read it everyday. It will happen.

Cool, the art you posted seems to have slight influences from Modigliani, Gauguin, a bit of Picasso in one drawing, and some 1920's era stuff done via a mod kinda approach. Not sure what to think. I dont like your comic book stuff, but I'm not an expert on art, so that's just my opinion.

You definately have potential, don't worry about the lines and proportions so much, just draw what you see in your head.

    But what do I know?
