Re: Any other gamers out there?
I'm an old school gamer. I was a video game nerd back in the days of Atari, NES, Super Nintendo, Mastersystem, and Genesis. When I was young, I used to rock video games at least six hours a day, but these days it's unusual that I spend more than three or four hours a week playing. I just kinda grew out of it.
Before I began moving around a lot, I was a game and console collector. Unfortunately because I've been moving into smaller and smaller places, I've had to sell off a LOT. Now I'm down to my Xbox, Gamecube, PS2, Genesis 3, psOne, NES, SNES, N64, and a couple of hand-helds.
My collection USED to be pretty insane, though.

Re: Any other gamers out there?
The first in the line of Soul Calibur games.
I really didn't pick up Soul Blade until I had already played the hell out of Soul Calibur on DreamCast so I wasn't nearly anywhere as good with it, but a very respectable game nonetheless. I've always been a fan of the Soul Calibur series because unlike many other fighting games, Soul Calibur doesn't simply focus on character, move, and engine design. Namco focused on everything from lighting mechanics to level environment detail. It just gives the series a much more polished feel in my opinion.

Re: Any other gamers out there?
Oh man, i loved the dreamcast, i still have it.
the adventure mode in sould blade on psx was just insanely difficult. I remember one of the last stage where you had to beat Voldo in the most difficult level without being hit once.
Yes you're right, i loved the epic feeling of the whole game. The music, sound effects and voices were awesome too. I loved the main voice "and the great battle ended with the victory of MITSURUGI"
As hardcore 2d fighting games fan, the soul blade/calibur serie is the only 3D game that i loved.

2D Fighting games are kick ass, too. I wasn't really into Mortal Kombat, but Street Fighter 2 Turbo was pretty rad.I can beat some ass with Fulgore and Orchid in Killer Instinct. Dark Stalkers, World Heroes, and Fatal Fury were all pretty good, too. Have you played Guilty Gear X2?

Re: Any other gamers out there?
Eternal Darkness is pretty killer, but I gotta stick with Resident Evil 2 on Nintendo 64.

Re: Any other gamers out there?
Yes i've played guilty gear, great game but honestly, the music is probably the worst of all games. I love metal and stuff like that but that was just awfull.
I loved the saturn and dreamcast days with xmen Vs street fighter, marvel vs SF, marvel super heroes, capcom vs snk 1&2, etc. And man when i look at this now:
