    Thank you.

As I said, only active duty or prior service members would understand

Not mad. I just don't like seeing fellow troops feel they are entitled.

    No hate at all.

Exactly. It's called being a man and grateful that you even have the opportunity to have a career with decent pay and benefits in a economy like now.

I assure all my troops that they should thank their blessings that we have received continuous pay raises and other benefits since 2008 when many Americans have lost jobs and homes.

I'm an active duty service member myself and I'm clearly calling out the fact that he is not the only one who has served in Afghanistan(A-Stan) and Iraq ( five deployments for me).

It's a douchebag route (boardwalk) that leads civilians to think that many service members feel they are entitled to free goods and services because they were forward deployed. Orders are orders and you do your time and come back and blow your saved up cash on hookers and blow.

Hey Lisa, read entire posts before you decide (ASSuME) to curse someone out.

It's funny how you feel "entitled" to speak for all the active duty personnel who aren't douchebags in your opinion. Oh, since I guess only people who've served can have an opinion(which is completely retarded, it's like saying only MLB players can have opinions about baseball), I was active back in the early 90s. Plus, I've been a fireman for over 15 years so shut your cakehole probie.

    Anytime Badgrammar,
I'm not an Internet tough guy and if you actually we're prior service you would know that a LCDR is not marines but a navy O-4. I'm about action and not talk so anytime you feel like opening your cum deposit and behaving like a man come down to the EODMU 3 at NAB Coronado in San Diego and ask for me. See, I'm not like your other officers who avoid conflict, I embrace it.

Apparently you didnt read the whole thread to see why I stated it was unsat for him to request a freebie. You are no different than any of us who use our MOS/rate/designator/ or AFSC to get poon-tang at the local dive bar but it's another thing to attempt to solicit free poontang on a forum because you're deploying. If you're prior service then you would completely understand that that is a character failure.

    Respectfully,
    LCDR Truth

Big respects to anyone serving (they wouldnt let me in any of the branches *asthma*..... fuck this disease)

But to just point out quickly he didnt once ask for discounts or freebies.....he asked to meet, for all we know he might have had every intention of paying not only the fee but leaving a big tip, who knows.

Probie??? I have 8 years LE experience and 12 years service time. If any thing you should know that we're all probies until we retire or go End of Watch unexpectedly. I'm not going to argue with you because when I'm not mobilized I work with LAFD and LACoFD on radio calls and I have nothing but respect for you guys. Have a good night BBaggins.

That unsat that MEPS fucked you on asthma/prior asthma. I had asthma as a child but I had a good recruiter who applied and acquired a waiver after getting me a consultation with a respiratory Doctor who cleared me. Some recruiters are just lazy and don't put the effort to put good personnel into the fleet.
