I think, given that a fair number of the responses have been from women, and the general tone has been pretty decent, your question has been well received. I do think it's ground that has been covered before here, but most things have, after all. My opinion, I don't see what was the issue with the question--anyone who is sensitive about it, um, doesn't have to reply.

I'm not offended by the question. If I as going to take offense regularly here, I wouldn't be able to read very much. Something has to be pretty offensive at this point to offend me here. The first time I ever came to HA, I wanted to barf at the crossdressing weirdos, the sexual retardation, the shitty attitudes, and just about everything else. Now I just accept the fact that at least half the guys here are brain dead closet cases. A few people cross the line by saying intolerable things, but no one will do anything about it anyway.
