hahaha no, its a drink. In Japan sake is brewed but with a twist...like Shyamalan lol...

While the Sake is fermenting, a Habu Snake ( only venomous snake in Japan. Only found on the island of Okinawa ) is placed into the barrel to suffocate and die, forcing its mouth to detract and then the fun part...the venom then releases and mixes with the fermenting alcohol. After one shot....wait about 30 minutes...then you are officially "Johnny Noodle Legs"

I've had Japanese whisky in Tokyo and also their rice-based spirit - not sake, which is a fortified wine. That rice stuff is evil.

Traditionally you go to a restaurant, drink sake or beer with the meal, then endless toasts with the rice spirit, after which you go to a karaoke bar and sing and drink scotch till you fall over. For little guys the Japanese have real staying power.

No wonder they were difficult to beat during the war.

Some Japanese whiskies are fabulous. But to me, a part time drunk, the main differance is the hangover. Nothing beats the quality of a Scotish Malt Whisky! the next day, you feel as fresh as a rose! and being 240 pounds, it's nice to feel so light and delicate...
