maybe as vittoria's transition is more recent and that wachowski and bono are famous americans but its odd that IMDB has Lana featured as "as larry" in older work and Chaz listed as sonny and cher's son and "as chastity" in older work, but they still have "giuseppe" listed with "as vittoria" in the credits. idk if IMDB is like wikipedia in that users edit it or if they have an editorial staff that dropped the ball here.

post transition, all references should be in the new name as with lana.

I have to disagree with the bolded section. I hope Vittoria's profile is change quickly to reflect her identity but I see IMDB's cast lists as an accurate documentation of the credits of the film and I believe if they're not, they should be. For that reason I think they should still list the names as they actually appeared in the film... the same is true for their new names. I'm a strong believer in films being proserved in the original state* and that means the credits too. So, if the purpose of IMDB is to be a database of film information, surely that information should be accurate to said film.

I agree with you. And in addition, according to translated articles I just read, Vittoria has not had the final surgery, thus still has to use her male name in certain legal circumstances, according to law. But she does not feel bitter over this. And in fact she uses her male name in talking about her male past, kind of like a separate person. I personally feel this is a healthy view, which allows individuals to grow into their truer identity, rather than denying ones past actions.

And you said she started transitioning at 30. For anyone who could doubt it, starting a bit later still can be wildly successfull, obviously. She's absolutly beautiful and radiant!
