Having visited a few TG friendly bars over the last few years I have noticed many (unfortunate) TG's who for what ever reason, can never look anything better than a really old wrinkly man in drag. Of course they deserve all the equality of any other human but because of the lack of tolerance and their strikingly odd appearance, they will forever suffer prejudices without even the chance to live as a woman and choose whether to expose their TG status.
In say 50 years time, will it be easier for TG's to come to terms with themselves in UK and Europe like in Thailiand and Philipines so than earlier hormone treatment will result in a much more convincing transition?
Will the technology of surgeries for transition advance enough to sufficiently help those who decide later in life to make a decent switch?
