Germs,, like the flu. They kill more people and make more people suffer than any other species I know of. But the Platypus comes a close second in my opinion.

If you really meant viscous I will agree with the guy that said some sort of snail. If you meant vicious then I have to agree with Yvonne. It is either some sort of germ or bacteria or a type of insect like the Mosquito.

I'm with Yvonne on this one, I'm going with the Ebola virus...in it's gooey viscous form.

I have to disagree with Trish and Yvonne. Viciousness is a quality that comes with consciousness surely. And with self awareness. Thus I don't believe there is any species quite as vicious as mankind - for e are the nly species that is probably self conscious. And certainly not a life form as low down the evolutionary chain as germs or viruses. Cruelty is the close cousin of viciousness and I think cats are probably as cruel as they come after us. You've only to watch how they can play with their prey for hours before finally killing it.

But who but humans causes pain simply for the pleasure it gives them.

Ebola for all that is is a vile life form is concerned solely with ensuring its own survival. It's got selfish genes - like all of us.
