So about 98% of them in that case? Someone gave me Mark Kermode's The Good, The Bad and The Multiplex for Christmas which I am enjoying immensely as much for his curmudgeonly commentary on all things blockbuster and the sheer misery of the multiplex experience as anything else, but what he says about the money-driven values of Hollywood nails all that's wrong with commercial cinema.

I probably go to the movies about 2-3 times a year. I agree with much of what you are saying. Most of what I watch is from the 1970s which was a more honest era of film.
Many who go into art for money instead of the thrill of creating end up with neither money nor creation.
