Forrest Gump, and Castaway. I normally like Hanks, but both of those movies annoy the living hell out of me.

Generally the sort of films I despise are those cynically produced by the Hollywood machine simply to make money - with no concern whatsoever for their value beyond the bottom line. So poor remakes of great films figure high on the list.

I also find repugnant the gratuitously violent torture horror genre, splatter films and dumb vampire or other horror films directed at the teenage market.

Essentially dumb films generally. But as i say hate is too strong s word for films. Save that for worthier targets.
