Default Hitting the bars on religious holidays is sad. . .

Christmas, Christmas Eve, Easter (for Christians, anyway)- is there a sadder time to find yourself in a bar?

With the exception of tonight this weekend is shot to hell. I've decided to hit it hard-

Have a safe weekend, everyone. I'm going to try to do the same. I've already reprogrammed my phone so all my ex-girlfriends' numbers are changed to United Taxi and my family's numbers will dial St. John's Hospital. I feel like no matter what kind of fu€ked up I get tonight, I'm covered.

I always went out during the holidays, I had no where else to go, no family and stuff like that. It was OK, it was fun, but this year is different, I'm gonna take a long walk in the woods.

I love my family as much as anyone but after 8-10 hours of the kids playing with their new toys, fighting, crying.......it's time for a cool one to settle the nerves.

um...had to throw a bachelor party on Holy Saturday last year...and it was fucking awesome. the strip club was so dead but had a full staff that we go all the attention of the best girls. so...i highly advocate going out when all the god fearing folk are hold up in their houses praying to a fictitious man in the sky that is all powerful and amazing...but needs money every week at church.

last night, we went out for my wife's bday and we owned the pool hall and bar...so again, i fully advocate it.

tonight after we do the whole family thing...around 11pm, wifey and i are going to a club where we will drink and dance away all the day's drama with family.

there is only 1 bad time to go to a bar/club...that's 3:30am...because all the chicks left are ugly and drunk and smelly and fat and greasy and knock-kneed and cheesy and busted. so if you'd like a free bj with a side of herpes, go then....otherwise frequent bars and clubs often any other time before you are too old to look pathetic in one.

Go for it dude. Full Throttle. Like I used to say when I lived in LA....The trip between LA and Sturgis isn't worth taking unless you're doin' 110. If we don't see you post for a couple days, we'll know you need a little rehab time.

    Peace

I like this a lot. Movies, restaurants, museums, travel, etc. are all so much better at off-times. (I usually have a contrarian schedule, so I'm also used to NYC trains/buses where I'm the only one aboard, there's no traffic, and the driver runs it like a bat out of hell.) G/f and I went out to a hard-ass punk show last night on the LES, best thing I've seen all year.
