please explain why knowing how to speak ANY other language is a deficit? how could knowing what is being said about you be a downside? the number one thing about speaking the language is that people have to know you know the score, have been there for a long time, and are not one to be messed about to the same degree as one who is ignorant of what is being said. which will immediately cause the true sharks in the pookl to feed elsewhere. beautiful or not, your dream girl or not, that does seem to help from my experience.

further, many of the posters here have seen particular girls on the Internet and want to be with them, the only place to find them is where they work or getting their mobile numbers from Internet website member's areas. Ladyboycrush.com and LB_69.com have good resources for that. get a one month subscription for 30 USD find the girls of interest and copy and paste their info into a MS doc. then cancel the membership. the 30 dollars is a sound investment. i must have a mobile phone with 50 numbers in it that i got mostly from the net to start. some are not still in service, but most are. it is there "office" phone and they try to keep their numbers. also, many have their e-mail addresses listed and that means you can "get to know them" before you come over. (many of these sites are blocked here in Thailand, do not assume you will be able to log on to them when you are here. i know this, because it happened to me before. copy and paste or write it down.

i have called many of these girls without having gone to their place of work, asked them to come and meet me at a particular time. and they ALL have. this eliminates the bar and all the hassles associated with that. if you ask them to visit you at about 3 or 4 PM you can also avoid the bar fine that so many of us abhor. as long as they can get to work and punch the clock before 7 pm (most bars) they do not have to tell the mamasan or give her the fine. if they meet you after that time you will need to give them the fine, but you still avoid the hard sell of some bars.

now, going to straight bars all evening, as is suggested here, and then going to cruise Sukhumvit Rd. (BKK) is OK, but consider this. LBs, as opposed to GGs, have one good throw a night in them, after that, their load is blown in the literal sense. this will surely cut down on their arousal, performance and your fun. GGs can go all night and it is most always the same performance. so if you want the full FX, want them at full arousal, waiting can surely diminish those chances. just like most anything else in life, fresh should be better. and you will not be "eating another man's soup" either.

so having to "suffer" a bar of that type to get what you dreamed about, and what inspired you to go in the first place, is just a little bit more. sort of like having a 3 or a 4 course meal instead of a soup and a salad. and as a benchmark for your assessment of the entire scene, go at least one night and see for yourself. all of us have opinions and personal strategies, develop one of your own.

i know what it is like to be in a candy store and not have enough pocket change to buy some jaw breakers, but if you think you can come here (or anywhere) and always avoid paying for what you desire, forget it. the Thai baht is very a strong now (especially against the USD) and it will never be like it was before(when i first came her bar fines were 200 baht, girls were 300 - 500 short time, punter drinks were 45 baht for a beer or a whiskey, and lady's drinks were 65 baht). so be prepared to spend some money to make the trip worthwhile. in USD a ladies drink in BKK is 4 dollars, in the USA that is 50 USD or there abouts, same as a lap dance (what's that all about?). so regardless of what the price ranges may be here, keep in mind it is baht and not some other currency, and the price differentials that appear to be way different, are not so different after all.

another consideration for some may be discretion. many guys may be shy to be seen with a LB, so the bars will help to cut down on your public exposure. if you see a LB in a bar, tell her that you will pay the bar (tell the mamasan too) and ask her to meet you outside where you can get a cab and go to a short time hotel down the street. they understand this and will comply. if at all possible, and you have a mobile on you, GET THEIR NUMBER, that way you are not outside and just holding your d*ck waiting for Gadot. when they give you the number, immediately call it to see if it works. but do keep in mind they now have your number as well, which ties you to "the scene of the crime", so to speak.

none of this is an exact science, and everyone has their method to this madness, so again i suggest, do a recon of the area on your first night. keep moving form place to place, and then decide where you want to hang out after that. many guys find a girl within the first hour and then unknowingly saddle themselves with her for a few days and then realize what they have done, missed out on other ops.

two things that i agree with stevensw on are these:

Thailand is spectacular place with one of the worlds oldest cultures. (the oldest remains on the planet, of a "civilized"village, were actually discovered up North a few years back. and, if you do find a GG or LB you get along with, take them on a tour with you. they can help you with the language, ordering food, getting from place to place, etc. BUT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALREADY SPENT A FEW DAYS WITH THEM. most who are into scamming will show their true colors in a short time, they just can't help themselves. others have the patience of a Sphinx so be aware of that too. AND NEVER assume that anything is free. NEVER. even if they say so. that is the number quagmire to avoid. if you do take a girl for more than a short time you are expected to pay for EVERYTHING.

also understand that bars require girls to be paid for for the entire time they are with you, and that goes towards them making their quota for the month. so do no think they only care about getting paid. the bar fine tally at the end of the month tells the boss if they are a good worker or not. girls who take more than a few days off, and do not pay the bar, must then pay a penalty to come back to work, usually 6 to 10,000 baht. so they will always be worrying about that.

i could go one for days here, but i must get back to work.

in closing i would like to add one thing, and not to pound my chest or brag, it is just a fact. i worked in Pattaya and i managed 2 hotels at the same time while i was there. a 4 star and a 5 star. one of my responsibilities, being a native English speaker, was to help out, translate and settle disputes between punters and joiners (they did not tell me that at the interview ... lol). so much of what i have seen and experienced is above and beyond the norm simply because it was part of my daily routine at work for 3 years in Pattaya, and also in other locals.

i have actually had to go to a room and get a girl to put down a broken beer bottle she was using to protect herself. seems the punter had fallen in love and thought the love of his life was running away. turns out she had been with him for 3 days in the room and only wanted to go home to get fresh clothes and "check her mail". i asked him if he had paid her, he said no, so i got him to grasp the fact she would be back to get paid for 3 or more days of work. too bad he flipped, she really liked him until he attacked her. (language was the key to survival here.) she was defending herself, NOT ATTACKING HIM. which is the case 50% of the time. he spoke Spanish and barely a word of English which of course is what most girls speak her for a second language. no side is innocent always, and no side is the perp always either.

working girls are at risk all the time. so do not wonder why they may be apprehensive to go anywhere or do what you may suggest. there are some real freaks coming here and they can be truly criminal in their behavior. there was a guy years ago who would kill them, wrapped them in plastic and hid them under the bed. and then there was a guy who would cuff them to the shower head and turn the hot water on and scald them to death. and in one of the hotels where i worked, an American sailor realized he had taken a LB for short time, and being a typical homophobe, he knocked her out, tied the sheets to her ankles and hung her off of his balcony. granted, 3 extreme examples, but true none the less. so be a bit understanding if someone does not want to do something they may perceive to be of danger to them.

I find that there are some better places in Pattaya for meeting LBs like in the Walking Street. The most girls in and around JSB looking not so clean and some could have alcohol- or drug problems.

Often the best way for meeting a LB in LOS is for going straight into a bar, looking around and then (maybe) asking the mamasan about your choice girl.
