i just got back from thailand. huge problem with yaabaa there. it was quite heartbreaking to see some very intelligent and beautiful girls getting steamrolled by this drug.

in the last few days i have gotten 3 pm's from folks thinking i am the girl in the avatar. although i am quite flattered, as she is the object of my affection, i regret to inform you that i am not her.

that picture is, as we all know, an avatar, which is defined by mirriam-websters as:

i think that many folks do this with their choice of avatar, and it is evident by the content of their posts that they are not the individual represented by the avatar image. possibly it is because this girl's image (her name is Ben) is so striking that many folks just become enthralled with her beauty and lose sight of the fact that the content of my posts should be enough for them to make the distinction.
