I do understand straight porn has a larger audience. Transsexual porn has a smaller pool. Transsexual porn's quality is not good enough to justified these prices. Supply and Demand? I think that if there were more sites that produced as much new content as sms,smc,and smy, that could give them a run for their money, they would be competitive and lower their prices. Unfortunately, a lot of the newer sites that opened up never updated regularly to make it competitive with those huge sites. Not only that, but SMC,SMY, amd SMS have been around for a long time. It would take some great marketing to get the new sites out there to compete. I really do hope that we get some competitors out there. It would get us more work and would be nice to see something different.

Is it really more expensive ? I think it has more to do with the fact that porn is going cheaper & cheaper, basically free on the internet... maybe shemale porn resisted a little longer but i bet it won't last very long.

Just looking at all of Kink.com's various sites, TsSeduction is as cheap a site as they offer. So most of their sites go for 14/month with a year's subscription but a few go higher. The ones that are higher seem to be the more rare fetish tastes: Pissing costs 25/month and Water Bondage goes for 30/month. And like someone already said the majority of Kink's gay sites are more expensive at 20/month.

So this would suggest Cost = size of audience/niche + a gay premium.

I have no Idea were you get your Stats. GG's make as little as half as much per scene as TS performers. Only the superstars and contract girls make more. And solo shoots are even less. Their is an abundance of GG's willing to either work or foray into the Adult industry for quick easy money. Their are a lot less TS in the greater population, then from that number the amount willing to work in the Adult Industry make it a very small talent pool indeed.

I don't think "fair" or "unfair" has anything to do with the pricing of TS porn. I'm no expert though.
