    I mentioned this on the other Kard-thread, but I'll repeat.

    I don't think any petition directly to E! will be effective. The only times in my memory I've seen petitioning to be effective against a show is by targeting advertisers instead of the network.

    TV makes money by selling ad space on their shows, the higher the ratings, the more they charge. But, if advertisers percieve their link to any said show to be negative, they will drop the show whatever the numbers.

    The corporations that own E and other networks bundle the crap with the few channels worth watching, the cable & sat providers have to pay for all the channels and the cost is passed on to the consumer.     Excellent point. And consumers should have the choice on what channels we want and don't want. But companies are out to, well, make as much money as they can and as fast as they can.
    Simply give consumers the choice. Whether they want 10 channels or 15 or 30 or whatever. And pay per channel. Simple. Consumers gain. But companies lose. So we get screwed -- ha ha!
