I drove an 18 wheeler for a spell when I came back from overseas and didn't feel like dealing with people.... Drove from northern Cali down into Mexico, then back to the east coast. Back then there was more drugs and toothless hookers at truck stops than in Bangkok ....and that's saying something. Too much coffee, greasy food, speed, and sleepless nights. It's not a healthy lifestyle as BJ and the Bear portrayed.

That's pretty cool omk! I never drove down to Mexico, I ran in 42 of 48 states though. Cali and Ill where the two worst states imho. Ill being the worse of the two. I remember waking up at a truckstop in Gary In and seeing yellow tape around the cab of the truck two spots down. Appernty the driver in question was stabed five times by a lot lizard for $40.
