It's all poultry, Bobby. Yes, it is unusual, and yes, I've had it all my life. When I was growing up chicken etc was considered a luxury that you only had on special occasions. My parents twigged that I was as sick as a dog every Xmas and Easter, had it checked out, and I've never eaten it since except inadvertently, and then as often as not ended in hospital.

Can you believe that I spent five years on and off visiting countries in the far east for business, where they use chicken for cooking everything including veg? I was scared shitless every single day and actually looked forward to the BA meal on the way home.

I really like Thai chilies in chicken soup. Habaneros & Bird's Eye are my favorite. Being from the Caribbean, we make a hot pickled side dish with raw grated veggies; a great topping for grilled meats & fish.

My uncle married a woman from the Caribbean and she made some of the best curried goat and jerk chicken.
