We have some ways to go until transwomen get the respect they deserve as well as their partners and spouses or just guys like us who find them attractive. Transphobia is a plague on society, it needs to end.

As a man who has seen the evolution of tgirls from the 80's up till now I'll say this. First off, I dont see Amy Daly and Hazel Tucker as perfect 10's. Far from it. I wont get into why, I'm just sayin. I think thats laughable. But Sunshyne, Jenn, and Yasmin yes. If you look at girls back in the 80's as far as looks, todays girls completely blow them away. They're just werent many passable girls back then. But no, I dont think what Yasmin did in Hangover 2 will completely change mainstream entertainment. It was total stunt casting. And its not like she played a lead character who carried the film. She had a nice cameo basically playing herself. I like Yasmin a lot, so this isnt a knock on her. But we're nowhere near the day when a tgirl will be in a mainstram movie playing a detective, or an action hero.

So the Golden Age is defined as having the highest number of tgirls who look like Barbie dolls? As if being an 8 or a 9 is the worst thing in the world, or being even lower for those who aren't models. Passability and beauty are two different concepts.

So yeah, we're definitely still a long way off.

Well, for guys who like TS girls I would say yes. Lots of pretty girls here in Texas that work regular jobs and want to go out for dating, dinner, etc. Probably not true everywhere, but in the bigger cities it's a great atmosphere.

I doubt it. The girls today at 3 times as good as the girls 10 years ago but probably not HALF as good as the girls 10 years from now. As more males get access to the possibilities of feminization I say we have only scratched the surface of what's possible. In 10 years time we're probably looking at exponential growth of transsexuality.

There are enough shallow posts on this thread alone to suggest that we're a long way off in terms of broad social acceptance, when people feel still it's fine to categorise and classify, and to diss girls who don't match whatever dickhead standard they carry in their heads.

I know girls who, dare I say it, like Debra, have transitioned successfully, hold down good jobs in the real world and would no more go into porn than they would sky dive off Canary Wharf. With all due respect, it's when girls like that achieve social acceptance, and notin the entirely symbolic and largely facile world of entertainment, that real progress will have been made.
