Vegas 2012!!!

first timer to vegas looking for advice.
Should I rent a car for my weekly stay or stick to using cabs?
I was planning to go to some shopping mall to get my fav us brands half the price compared to eu prices I have heard of nice malls located outside the city, where one can get Ralph Lauren and others.
But I am not sure if 40 miles or so can be done with some train or bus or is it more convenient to have car with me?
Also - are there any short time rentals available in Vegas for decent prices? 1-2 days?

I suggest renting a car from either Dollar or Enterprise. It's about forty to fifty dollars per day to rent. Taxis will cost you about twenty bucks each ride. The public transportation system here is pretty good too, though. You can get a five day bus pass for twenty-five dollars, and they go pretty much everywhere. It's up to you. I hope you have fun in our fabulous city! You're sure to meet a lot of hot girls, and for a one-of-a-kind experience that I believe every HA'er should try, you've got to visit the Las Vegas Lounge at least once. Cheers!

Thank you Natasha and Goliath for great tips.
I am arriving on Thursday evening and after 22 hours trip, the first thing in Vegas - I will try to find some good massage to recover
After that I will be in need for a fun place to fight the jetlag - I was hopin that maybe there is some HA party in town, but haven't found a word on any so far.
Your recommendations are interesting though - which is the best for thursday night - LV Lounge, Krave or Piranha?

well I think some of the guys are preparing some trouble, just have to contact them here and see if its open for everyone to hang out or just for some.
For a thursday night the best bet is Krave because they are a gay club but on thursdays they have drags shows so sometimes you will see a few ts girls wondering around, you will spot them or they will spot you. LV loungge is better on fridays or saturday nights, but its a hit or miss situation. But be carefull there, some might jump you on your way in. LOL

ok this is getting good, AVN Expo today was good, might go back tomorrow to take care of some business, now preparing myself for a session I have tonight around 8:30pm, should be finish around 10:30pm, after that I am free.
