IMO, quality is better in Bangkok, but then again Bangkok can cost more $$. If I remember correctly I paid Sindy about US $90 for 12 hours. Barfine and a drink another $20. No, Sindy works out of Cascade bar on level 3 of Nana Plaza in Bangkok, she has been there several years and does quite well for herself. I spent 8 weeks there summer of 2010 so those prices are current, just the US $ is worth less.
Yes, by Western standards it seems cheap, but go down to Pattaya, and you will get LB's for $40 all night , in fact its not uncommon that by noon the next day you are actually throwing them out of your room just to get some rest.
