If you think you need something you probably do. Think of it as an insurance policy that hopefully you'll never have to use. A nice custom Remington 700 would definitely meet any requirement for range and accuracy.

He said it was an investment. I have a pre-ban Armalite M-15 .223 with a match barrel and trigger that cost me $1100. It's accurate, semi-auto, and accepts 30 round mags. Originally Posted by BluegrassCat

I imagine when things get real bad, mobility is gonna be important and setting up a good nest may not be practical or that beneficial. I guess it depends on your supplies and fortifications.
