Here in Chicago, health forums and other forms used for city pourposes are going to have the 3 gender options. I am not a female, I'm a transexual woman and my gender should be valid. Its not for everybody to agree, but I and many of my trans sisters have no qualms with being trannys and enjoying and living our lives as such, passing for something you are not is not all that great.

Sorry lady, but for me there's only two genders and a bunch of people in between, and those people in between should not be defined by what's between their legs, so on that basis, I'm sorry, but while my primary sex characteristic is male, everything else about me is female, therefore, my gender is female.

But call yourself whatever you like. It's just a semantic argument really since 'third gender' has no legal recognition in most places... although I would like to keep it that way.
