Re: What is the difference between spamming and advertising?
Advertising's selling you exactly what it is.
Spam's all gussied up in a posh frock selling a broke-ass goldmine!
Hey, i like Kim, i'd do her.
But, she does spam the fuck outta this board.
Her drones infect every thread, it can get tiresome sometimes.

Spamming is un-warranted and forced upon you. Although it usually occurs via emails it can also appear on forums in which case most people accept that a spammer would be someone who doesn't add anything but their promotions to a forum - or a new member of that forum, who tries to trick the members into their promotion.
You can get a CAN-Spam definition from my website.

Re: What is the difference between spamming and advertising?
You say tiresome?
Don't you think Seanchai's posts every day adversing some "new" website is tiresome?
At least Kim's site offers something different to the 1000's of ladyboy sites out there. Talk about clones. They are like they all came from the same mould.
And come to that, the western based TS scene has become way too boring lately. All the same girls doing all the same stuff..... yawn....
More variety on the Disney Channel!

Posting a BANNER with everything you write on here is like having something forced upon you, you know.
Kinda hard to ignore it when it slaps you in the face.

I recommend you get http://adblockplus.org/en/ which will block most banners and then you won't have to cry like a baby?

Re: What is the difference between spamming and advertising?
Hahahhahaha - tit.
You have a choice, when you see my posts, click on them - or don't click, if you see them tiresome. Even better, isn't there a feature on Hungangels to ignore some people's posts - I'd suggest anyone complaining about my posts or anybody else's take the opportunity to ignore them.
Obviously plenty of people want to see them, judging by the hit the websites receieve from HA.

I'm not Jesus but I do walk on water. Muppet - one of my favourite put downs, congratulations.
You are correct sales do count but it's the hits that gets you to the sales and at an average 1:400-500 ratio we make good sales from our hits, which is how we measure our traffic. Revenue generated from those hits can come in mutliple formats.. I think you are getting hits and impressions (which was I called out someone recently for) mixed up - if not, then you clearly just don't have a clue what you are talking about.
Don't try to teach me this business, love.
