They don't need a a new law to require porn performers to wear condoms, there are already federal rules that could be used. If there is a workplace that has a hazardous working condition to the workers then OSHA can enforce rules to make it safe. It all depends if OSHA will consider the situation in porn to be hazardous to the workers.

I think the safer sex message of condom use in porn is productive and sex positive.

I don't think hysteria and publicity, over a positive performer is productive. As much as any sensible person tries... H.I.V., among so many other things, is a component of most of our contemporary sexualities, personal choices, actual behaviors.

Sport Sex is just that... Nascar without fire proof suit? Without a helmet football?
Bummer for the workers... Late summer day off never hurts... Best to the performer getting 'the news' in a less than appropriately discrete way... maybe other work in the industry for them.
