I just walked into Costco with my brother while he bought a television. That was actually scarier than what I've seen so far on Springer.

I used to shop at BJ's...Costco is the upscale version of that.







...they do sell good underwear...lol

LOL! Costco is a special place. I'll admit it, I've had the urge for 80 lbs of cheeseballs, a flat screen TV, and a 1,000 pencils all in the same day. I didn't buy it anything but I stayed carting all three for a few hours, lol

Living in Europe, I found out that many Europeans' image of America was "Baywatch" - everyone's blonde, buff & beautiful. Each & every time, I would "attempt to" find a channel with Jerry Springer (yes, it's syndicated in Europe) and tell them, "No, America is more like this." The immediate response was always, "Oh, nooooo." Oh, yes....

Interestingly enough, not true of most Americans I've worked with in Europe. Proof that travel does indeed broaden the mind, perhaps. Also true of most Americans I've worked with in the USA.

Stereotyping is dumb whoever does it. And Europeans are not, in the main, left-leaning wimps either.

For the most part ...people here are talking about an economic/cultural social class that exists in almost every country. If you don't run into them...it's because you generally don't rub elbows with that type of person.

Costco isnt half as scary of a place as walmart though. Have you ever been to www.peopleofwalmart.com ? It's an interesting mix of various types of people from the bottom of the barrel.
