    Default Best Joke at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

    The best joke award at this year's fringe festival went to someone called Nick Helm for his joke:

    I needed a password eight characters long so I picked Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

    The wooden spoon went to veteran British comedian and magician [sic] Paul Daniels for this (for those who dont know B&Q is a chain store in the UK)

    I said to a fella, Is there a B&&Q in Henley? He said, No, There's an H, an E, and N, an L and and a Y

    Hmmmmm...anyone fancy a pint?

    I just read this also.
    C'mon Paul Daniels ... the humour is in how bad he is!

    PU on the "joke".

    Yes on the pint.

    The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

    Fringe was crap this year, mostly the same comedians coming back from past years with worse material. The one guy I wanted to see was Lee Mack and he never came this year.

    I liked Tim Vine's joke which was voted second.

    “Crime in multi-storey car parks. That is wrong on so many different levels"

    He is the undisputed king of the well-crafted one-liner.

    Jeez, how I miss the Edinburgh Festival. Kipping on friends' floors and drifting through a glorious haze of fun, drama, music, alcohol and high quality dope for three weeks....
