    Default Protein Diets

    Anyone have experiences with em? I want to order these Whey shakes with flavours for a month and mix em up with a bit of cardio on my crosstrainer.

    I currently weigh 174 pounds -79kg and i would like to get to 154 pounds - 70kg atleast with the help of it.



    ps: Im not really a sporty person

    I went on one about 5 years ago, called Lighter Life, Mayrah. Tightly controlled and not cheap (until you discount all the ordinary food you would have consumed instead) but it really worked. Lost 32 kilos in just over four months.

    erm are they not for muscle mass?!

    Try change diet and walk/jog would be a quick way to lose 20lbs ?!

    It keeps muscle mass but not fat and i dont have much muscles mass anyway

    I know that there's plenty of justified caution about some of these diets, Sammi, but not this one. All you eat is their high concentration protein products, absolutely nothing else, plus a min of 4 litres of water a day and black tea or coffee. You are given a personal counsellor to supervise your progress, and most important of all, you have to get your GP's ok to start AND have a monthly check with them too. Essentially you get a quick and impressive start by in the end metabolising your own fat. I lost 20 lbs in just over the first two weeks. It's that encouraging start that keeps you going. And I felt fantastic all the way through - it heightens your senses and makes you feel good.

    But jogging is fine too. Best thing for us here in East Anglia and presumably for Mayrah in the Netherlands too is that it's all pretty flat lol.

    fair enough - am no exxert just knew whey protein shakes are good for building muslces and supposedly the amino acids are good for warding off heart disease and other nasties and thats about my knowledge and err .. i have the opposite problem to you , trying to gain/keep weight.. eugh.

    Some of their products contain whey, but there's a lot more to it than that.

    There are soups, shakes and bars. It's obviously not for you, sweety, but it might work for Mayrah, and it certainly did for me.
