Re: Protein Diets
I haven't read all the post so I dont know if somebody recommended it or what, but I highly recommend taking some Hydroxycut if you trying to tread some pounds. Since Im naturally skinny I dont need to take it, but I've tooken a small sample bottle once before, probably enough for like a few weeks, because it came free with a workout supplement I bought, and DAMN, I did see results quick! Of course though I was training and workout hours everyday at that time and stayed away from too much fatty foods

Re: Protein Diets
It's a bit complex. If you only eat protein you will lose some weight at first. But you'll also start feeling tired. This is why a lot of people who started Atkins gave up (and gained it all back). You also need vitamins, fiber and other nutrients. Lastly, you need some healthy fats in your life. Fish oil and the like. See if you can't find a decent nutritionist. If not, check out Tim Ferris's book, The 4 Hour Body, or his online blog. I've lost about 7 inches off my waist using his techniques with almost no exercise...
The best part of what he writes is that he gives you a free day (it actually helps prevent cheating.)
And you know what I eat on my free day?
Me not sure which me like better: wild sex or cookies. Maybe cookie sex?
