Re: The bisexual man is no longer a myth.
This guy just arrived from Pluto, Ben, hasn't he?
To me, it's comes down to the same thing: where are we comming from. Our closest parents in the evolutive chain are chimpanzees, which two varieties exists. Common chimps and bonobos. Chimps are often bisexual and bonobos are completely bisexuals. History also shows that societies were largely bisexuals before christianity. So there you have it.
Besides, we think of ourselves as much too independant from our biology. If there wasn't a biological capacity or propension to same sex relations, there wouldn't be, like in many animals.
I refer you here to a couple of enlightening articles from Wiki...

True Dan, very true... as you point out: "... bonobos are completely bisexual. History also shows that societies were largely bisexual before Christianity. So there you have it."

Re: The bisexual man is no longer a myth.
I see it this way:
Gay is when you are a man and are sexually attracted to the image of another manand have "feelings"for man fell in love with people your own genre
Bi-sexual is when you are "sexually" attracted to the image of a man and the image of woman but without feelings for them just flesh

Re: The bisexual man is no longer a myth.
It is a great that a study supports Bisexuality. I am fanscinated by what we find out about sexuality because a lot of it is behind a lock door. I have heard several studies that people "apparent" paradoxes about sex and attraction. One I remember was a study that was about people's partner preferences among speed daters. One girl in particular was asked to fill out her preferences in a partner before she went to speed dating and she emphasized sincerity and intelligence. But after going out with one guy who was describe by other participants as attractive and funny, not sincere and intelligence, this girl was asked about her preferences after and she changed it to attractive and funny. A month later she was asked the same thing and she went back to intelligence and sincere.
What the researchers found that this girl, who was representative of other men and women in the study, would tend to change their preferences to the person they are dating currently. But after a while, she would go back to her "conscious" preferences. When this girl had time to sit down and think about what she wanted, it was sincerity and intelligence. But in the situation when you just meet someone, its automatic you can't sit down and think about it. And in that case, it becomes attractive and funny and those are more unconscious preferences.
The point of the study was that what we think we are attracted to, a lot is unconscious and "behind a locked door." So yes someone can be both attracted to men and women, transgender, cd...That appears to be a paradox, but I think it is more due to our lack of understanding the true motives, taughts, and feelings behind sexual attractions
