OMG. I LOVE Oregon. My friend since high school lives in Gresham, right outside of Eugene. But I'm a sucker for family, and they all live in NJ; parents, grandparents, siblings, nieces, and nephews. I missed them all for 4 years in south FL, and I realized it by the time I got back here. Keep in mind, I'm Italian. Haven't you ever seen those Olive Garden commercials? "When ya hea', ya faaamily." Oh yeah, Eugene is pretty much hippie central. That's cool that you have connections here. It's funny, I never really hear about Oregon a lot on T.V. shows or movies, but a lot of times when I meet people from out of state they know someone who lives here or are familiar with Portland.
