No. She's an exceptional person. She's pretty much my best friend, if I had to pick one person. I mean, she's like my sister. I've known her since I was 15. She was a teacher, worked her ass off for years, and came into an inheritance about two years ago. It's one of those rare cases where good things happened to a good person, and spilled over into yet another good person's life. So yeah. It's pretty cool. I'm happy for her, and for him too. If I thought he was a putz, I would've told her QUICKLY. Neither of us hold back with each other. lol

A few guys were saying that once over 30 a girl starts to look past it - I was pointing out that that isn't always the case.

And there is a difference to that distinction. A gold digger is only interested in money. The reason she dates someone is because she wants at his cash. Where as a high maintenance girl has expensive tastes and usually spends plenty of money, but that is a by product of how she is - the money is not the motivator.

Sure some girls can be both, but one is not necessarily the other.

I've been called "high maintenace" a number of times but I am not without brains, and I never hook up. There will always be someone who breaks the rules and will change your mind.

I have always viewed "High Maintenance" as a weakness.
If you need everything handed to you,you obviously have NO skills whatsoever,and it is YOUR weakness.
If you'd rather just be given everything and not work it is someone ELSE'S weakness....provided they fall for it that is.

To me there are two types of high maintenance women out there. The first is the hot made up to the nines who look for the well off guy or a guy to drain down his bank account i.e. Golddigger. The other type is a women who again is hot, but live for drama and chaos and got to have have constant attention. Basically a basket case. On the outside they seem altogether, but on the inside they are a mess. Unfortunately i dated the second type. God what a shit time for me.

Hmmm high maintenance and smart never tried that combo before, but got a feeling your type would be even trickier to deal with
