    I've seen the commercials, and want to know just how the fuck monkeys and apes were somehow able to completely overtake mankind, with our weaponry and tanks and planes and guns. without spoiling it, can someone tell me that they at least made this seem somehow plausible?

    I saw it and was pleasantly surprised. Much better than I thought. As for your question, I had the same doubt before watching the movie as well. The end of the movie answers that question and sets itself up for at least one good sequel. HINT (without giving it away): have you seen 12 Monkeys???

    I agree with theone. I found the first six hours extremely boring. The last 15 minutes was ok.

    My favorite apes movie was the remake- man, what I would do to Helena Bonham Carter's hairy ads!
