I just bought an M1A SOCOM 16. I wanted an M14 SOPMOD, but the SOCOM was available and it is, for all intents and purposes a very similar weapon. Had to add it to my gun family. =)

Finally finished my AR15 (bottom). I just got the lower receiver tonight. I can't wait to take it out to the range and get it sighted in.

I bought myself a Mossberg 535 Tactical 12 Gauge earlier this month, 5+1 capacity. It's got the pistol grip and M4-style retracting stock. I saw some really nice AR-15's at the same gun dealer and was thinking I'll get one next year. I'm also gonna apply for NYS pistol license and get a Glock 17 9mm and a M1911 .45 ACP. Unfortunately about the AR-15 is the 10 round capacity limit in New York.
