To address the question .... no the only way to be 100 per cent safe is NOT to have anal sex, passive or active. That said passive anal sex is more dangerous than active. So if you are being active and if you use a stronger condom then it is unlikely it ill split and thus you should not contract HIV.

But there are no 100 per cent guarantees apart from abstention.
And then you'll get run over by a bus.

With all due respect Ms Dupre I do not believe TS are gay men or men at all. However I do not have voices in my head feeding me statistics, there is a wealth of STD information online from reputable research agencies such as the CDC, who, etc which validate my concerns. I would be much obliged if someone with ur expertise and experience in this matter could direct me to or provide me with relevant information on this serious topic rather than post comments which may be easily misconstrued as a put down. stop with the freaking hysterics.the article posted only surveyed transsexuals in california and it stated that only 6.8% were hiv positive.just because someone writes something on this board doesnt make it true.as an adult you should be able to filter out misinformation from facts.
