Has the "transsexual porn phenomena" peaked?

My impression is that the interest in and enthusiasm for transsexual porn has generally peaked. I don't think it's for lack of talent or beauty, I simply suspect that the genre is unable to attract new fans. The number of transsexual films produced each year seems to be on the decline (presumably, reflecting demand). Some transsexual "stars" have even become more mainstream and media darlings of sorts (e.g. Candice Cayne, Yasmine Lee, Allanah Starr, Sunny Delight, Jennifer Paris, just to name a few) but my sense is that the "bloom is off the rose", so to speak, for transsexual porn. For me, transsexual porn and sex has become just as exciting / boring as any other type of porn and sex.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

I think it's fantastic that we have a niche in porn, just like any of the others. It validates us to a degree. But let's face it. If that's the ceiling for how much the general public will embrace us, we'll never get taken seriously. But porn was, and continues to be, important for us. It's now an undeniable fact; trannys turn on straight guys.
