I read the comments on the Bilerico blog, and the response from Ms.
Monica Roberts of the Transgriot.

I'm going to go with what many responder and Ms. Roberts stated, "gay,
white male privilege stikes again".

I am happy that same sex marriage legislation will allow pre op
transwomen that desire to marry to do so. I also feel that gays and
lesbians should have all of the same rights as those accorded to
heteronormative couples.

However, in the same month that SSM was passed, GENDA (Gender
Expression Non-Discrimination Act) has failed to pass for the fourth time.
